We are excited to announce that Chantelle Petterson has been appointed to the role of Delegate Representative at STONZ. The role of the Delegate Representative is to provide leadership across the delegate network and work to better understand the role of the delegates and how we can better support them, so they in turn can better support our membership. Chantelle is currently working as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) non-training registrar at Waikato Hospital.
Up until recently the Research role has been coordinated by Rich Storey, but the time has come to hand over the reins. Taking up the responsibility for the Research portfolio is Alex Boyle, who is currently a Registrar at Tauranga Hospital. Each year STONZ provides funding to a number of Research Applicants and Alex’s role will be to manage that process and promote the research funding across the STONZ membership.
