Dental Council RegsitrationAs a new graduate you need to apply for registration with the Dental Council before you can begin practising.

New Zealand Dental Association NZDA membership is not required but often recommended. It's a good place to update CPD online.

Primary Dental Sciences ExaminationMany dental graduates choose to sit this exam in their second year. If you are employed by Te Whata Ora you may be able to get some Te Whata Ora funding for this also.
